I registered in the forum during the June holidays as 'jin' - stands for "janetisnow". I am @ Youth.SG, 12月27日 HeyyyThe taken-over tour guide for this recent Taiwan (and HK) trip
looks very much like one of my friends, Tian Nan. From head to toe, the words used, the looks - everything. I'm kinda lazy these few days so I guess I won't post any pictures, well, if you want, you may log in to Friendster. Let me begin on some fast facts. Fast Facts:
1. A trip for a very long time as a family only. 2. (Taiwan) The sightseeing wasn't enough for 5 days. (Or rather there wasn't enough to see) 3. (Taiwan) The most educational trip.
4. (Taiwan) The most sales talking trip. (About 5-6. From tea packets to pearls) 5. Didn't do heavy duty shopping at Taiwan. We were there for the sake of being there.
(Prices were similar to Japan - expensive.) (Also, we had to lug all that we buy to Singapore via HK - So people, we ain't stingy. Think) 6. (HK) We didn't take the tram as the queue was quite long. 7. We took in total of 4 aeroplane trips. (from Singapore to Taiwan via HK and then to HK and then back to Singapore) 8. Came back with 5 Luggage bags. 9. Leslie bought 10 airline models - breaking his record.
10. There were angry-mood-moments throughout the trip. (What's New?)
And yes, the above are the colours of our ribbons on our luggage.

underneath the chiller. Today was the last day of work at my parents place. I have cut myself three consequtive times! Obviously, ouch! I have not blogged for some time, I feel lazy =) December 1st
I went out with Jun Xiang, Nicholas and Vincent (from now on, I'll call Choh Wai - Vincent). Everyone seemed the same, not really a big change. I met Gen on the way there (at Douby Gawt MRT) An unplanned trip to Vivocity was made, I forgotten it was the opening. We watched 'Open Season' for $9.50. Hady and Jonathan were outside 7-11 signing autographs on calanders and many crowd around. The show was okay I guess, with similar plots from Over the Hedge and Madagascar. After the movie, we walked a Japanese shop. Suddenly, the whole building shook for short durations. I was terrified! I didn't know what to do! We were on the second level from the top, and people were running up the escalators and Nicholas nearly fell down. It was the grand opening for Vivocity that night and the top of the building (outside) was all covered and no one could go through for saftely reasons. All tried to sneak to get a glimpse of it, it felt like it was a warzone. Once the fireworks finished, we decided to walk around, we went to Toys-R-Us and had a fun time pressing buttons, playing with toys (lol at such a age, but who really cares?) They were about to close down, and walk walk walked.. all the way to level one.. and saw this crowd, watching this screen. Stafani Sun was on the screen, apprantly the security guard told us that she was on the top level performing, but must enter with a ticket. I am so happy with Singapore's talant! From the lighting to the camera angles to .. arhh.. everything! Okay.. here are four pictures taken, too bad Nicholas was not included as he came late.   Shots with Vincent and I
  Shot with Jun Xiang | Jonathan Leong - for my sisterr!! Went to Ikea with my siblings on Sunday night. It was a long time ever since we went out together. No pictures taken. Crowd was darn pack. You queue to get in, you queue to get seats, you queue for your food! We ate there more then buying furnitures. We've seen the ugly side of Singaporeans. From queue-cutters to free stuff getters. We got a free red cushion huggie and a blue foldable bag. Okay, that's it folks! <<mym>> - dEREk - |
