    Everythings seems to make me happy

    Retrived Entry

    Quick update:
    My CNY started with a cycling trip
    from Pasir Ris to Kallang Stadium
    with my siblings and cousin after
    our reunion dinner at grandparents' house =D
    The the visits of houses >>

    lunch and dinner
    white turned to back (chickens)>>

    My CNY will end at my house later today.
    A dinner, buffet at home with all stars.

    I did not perform for CNY as the song did not fit in well.
    It was 2 days to the actual performance day (Friday) and
    it will be too late by the time I plan for a next song, with such
    messed up planning (in better words). 3:30pm was said to be the start of the first reheasal.
    It wasn't until the PA boys shouted "Hey! We'll be closing the hall if *you don't start"
    That, my god, was 5pm! *you=Miss Dai Yuwen - the in charge of this event.
    Also, the school's planning of crashing Total Defence Day and CNY together,
    isn't it very ironic commemorating a sad day and a happy upbeat event on the same day?
    The beauty of a song is how people intepret it. If my idea of getting everyone regardless of races
    to celebrate CNY as a grand finale, I wonder how did the graduating students able to dance to hip hop
    music when neither of their dance steps nor songs were related to CNY in any aspects.
    It wasn't even worth it even though I prepared a backup song for the last rehearsal;
    it wasn't even put into consideration.

    SWIM!

    Finally: A trip to the swimming pool =)
    I had long wanting to go to the swimming pool ever since
    the start of the new year! I've went and came back. Shiok feeling!
    Its the feeling when the sun is shining and you are in cold water.
    It was time to just chill.

    A2 FOR ELEMENTARY MATHS

    Practically exclaimed in front of my Chinese teacher!
    I am practically worried as people will tend to say like
    "..oh since derek got A2, shall not mix with him.."
    "..he will try to act nice while we are doing maths.."
    "..he is trying so hard to fit in.."
    Oh well! I shall see how it turns out this week.

    Saturday is rather a boring day.
    Parents usually at work.
    This time, my mom is home!
    Brothur is sleeping and Sista is giving English tuition.

    Drill my mouth

    Dentist Visit
    Count myself lucky.
    Its my extra year in Secondary School and 
    I still have check-ups for my mouth.
    A short walk during A.Maths period to the dentist caravan with Jun Xiang.
    We made friendly conversation with the lady dentist and she was rather nice.
    All dentists are nice right? They all have a weird laughter eh?
    LOL! Seriously, ever since primary school,
    I always experience dentists who chuckles "herherher"
    Anyway, nothing much was done to my mouth.
    I just noticed that one of my wisdom tooth is gone.
    The other three is still in place as there's still space.
    I may perform for Chinese New Year!
    But its so not confirm till next Tuesday!
    Till then, that's it folks!

    Back - Finally

    That's a wrap!
    (For the first month of 2007)
    (For the Friday's sharing skit)
    Oh man! I just realised how long I have not blogged! 
    I have gone through alot of events and situations the past week.
    Helpful me lent a hand to wushu - Nicholas and Vincent 
    - to edit their Cest 'La 'Vie (sp?!) performance.
    Wrote a stupid petition about name tags and sure strucked controversy.
    Not forgetting dinners at Ikea on Mondays.
    Regarding Friday's performance,
    my idea was not followed up - fed up.
    However, I took a breath, and went with the flow.
    Jing Wen's idea was brought up and was supported
    by her friends who made up majority of the group
    to share our 'talk is cheap' class value: Teamwork.
    My Idea: Perform 'Imagine' by John Lennon
    (an anti-violence, hoping for a better world kinda song)
    Reason: Because it was rather out-of-the-box rather
    than those reflections and sharing of class values.
    Others also kept saying that the script isn't nicely done. I just wish to say:
    "If you don't like it - don't just talk, do it."
    But now that everything's over, let's put it aside.
    I am not angry just because my idea wasn't chosen,
    but I am just fed-up at how everything was handled.
    I could only recall that I did the most.
    This is some serious bullshit teamwork.
    + Common tests are starting next week
    + Practical examinations for both sciences start
    + Confessions Tour is still not in my hands
    + Bought a new jacket and pair of shoes
