Yes, we survived the first year!
This post is a follow-up from last semester.
Block 6: Visual Presentation Essentials & 2D Art Fundamentals

Visual Presentation Essentials is a MOI subject I choose for
elective so is not our core subjects. Quite tiring to cut things
precisely! During this module, I felt the pinch of not having a
lappy so halfway through this module, I got my first laptop!
Also made my sister's 21st birthday book for her thanks
to my final assignment ;) The last picture I swear, Arif
had no clue I took this picture yet he was looking
straight at my phone camera lens LOL!
Wah this module was quite fun, ahah!
We had to do loads of painting and you know,
I have no idea how to use water colours and all.
On the random shot beside my final piece is Jia Yi!

We kept going back to SAM and the open space
to draw and compose pictures just by looking at buildings,
also we learned more about colours and colour wheels
and I tell you, my lecturer ..... he's amazing!
Block 7: Applied Graphic & Design History & Culture
Expect lesser pictures because this block
onwards, we were rushing more than anything.
Simon says "It takes about 2-3 years to create
an identity for a logo." WHOO. It took us 1 month!
The 2nd picture doesn't look like a dog right? HAHA!
The best part was the mailer: Pop-out cotton bud.
I present you Huda at her utmost unglam moment
of this block in class ;D
December Break
On the last day, I did not clear my room instead,
I packed my bag as we were heading to China for the holiday.
When I was on the plane staring out of the window, I remembered
it somehow didn't hit me that I was actually relaxing after all these months.
Had a great time and as I'm typing, I'm actually do miss
China! The weather, the technology used, the people
and their way of lives, many things really make me think
how independant they are.
Before holidays ended,
I was preparing for a string of songs with words so meaningful
I could relate to each and every song performed
at Far East Plaza which was really something to me!
Block 8: Creative Writing & Project 1: IMD
All I remember this block was
the introduction horror of P1,
.. paul-la-la-la-pauly ..,
Chinese New year
(which did not feel like one until
the decorations were hung up),
as well as late nights with green tea!
Creative Writing was prolly one of the
worst module I've ever taken. Haha!
Hope my results' okay for this one!
Block 9: Project 1: IMD
I chose to do on YOG for a handbook
and yes, this was the block which I went
around Singapore while some of my friends
were having holidays already. I took the time
with Benny and Herman to travel around Singapore!
Also, see the elephants there? They're enjoying in the
rain huh? Actually, no la. They didn't had any feelings.
Know why? They're fake ones. :)
I actually enjoyed this module for some reasons.
Mainly because I could spend time freely, yet explore
our own island! This was the block I wanted to fake an
MC to find out that I really was sick! Coincidental huh.
Block 10: Multimedia Essentials
MMEss (aka Messy)!
The only block we had elearning.
Quite screwed up on many levels,
even my body clock is [look at the time]
I had a book and the internet to help me
out with those html codings and all. When we
did our presentation, we thought it was the end.
This was the only time we could extend so badly.
Haha! And yes, I've come to the end of my first year.
Results will be out on the 8th,
Timetable will be out on the 16th.
Joan's birthday will be on the 2nd,
Leslie will be back on the same day!
The music event would most likely
be on the 28th, hopefully I can make it!

School's extended!
That means holidays are cut short.
Mixed feelings, but more of good ones
cos I believe holidays would be *a little*
boring so why not spend time doing
something useful about my homework,
rather than rushing and not doing
a good job all in all by monday?
School ends this thursday.
Oh no, I should say school rests this
thursday before the new year starts
on 20th April and I'll be in
JUNIOR YEAR!
gee. time flies.
Think kuala bears and kangaroos,
crawling up its mother's back
and hopping on a sandy beach
while the night sky falls
on the opera house.
I'M ENVIOUS.

March 18
Ahh ok finally got some time to update!
toldcha i wasn't dead! I'm back ok, OK!
Though I didn't disappear from the computer,
I'm busy with something - homework!
So I met Firdaus on bus 15 today on the way to school
and he kept me updated about his life and what he
was doing. He will be having his driving theory test
soon and I would be feeling so left behind.
Something is up with me when it comes to
driving - something I don't trust myself with.
What's more, I don't like/wish to neglect my
studies as I prefer to finish something wholeheartedly.
When would be the right and best time for me to take it up?
Already my family relatives friends are pushing me on
while i'm, be it an excuse or not, simply not prepared for it.
Yup ok anyway, went with Darlene to the dinner on ..
last last monday (wow. ok! that was sure long)
Then she got a bit.. out of ..
..
hand .. with......
plastic hands?!
don't kill me for putting this up ;D
you know sometimes is good
to just stop whatever you are doing
and do something else. so right now
i'm taking a break to ease my thoughts
for i think more than i actually do, you know?
you know sometimes i hate
it when night falls. when the sun is gone
and everyone greets 'goodnight' and disappears
in their rooms and the voice in our heads just keeps
ringing and ringing - thoughts that make you think so deep
that sometimes make you feel like you think you can't
make it and you have to try your way to think that
you can overcome your fears somehow, you know?
you know sometimes i think
i think too much.
hahahaha, you know?
that could probably sum up
the type of person i've become
before i end off,
happy birthday, phoebe!
i'm very blessed to know you as a friend
ever since we knew each other during
ComDi, thank you for being there even
when you're far away in malaysia (lol!!)
all the best in whatever you do, dont
let anything get in your way..
..have a great day ahead! :)

Let me cramp up everything in one paragraph before anything. I feel lazy to put everything nicely tonight because I feel very pek cek. Nothing bad happened to me or anything because I think I am thinking too much rather than doing my assignment. LALALALA. Actually I really have nothing to say right now. just feeling quite.. feeling a whol.. just feeling crappy la. Yeah, so anyway I have been on the computer doing anything except my assignment. I went to check out some breaking news - yes. I rather read news than doing html on my own. These were some of those that I read and is amazing how some made it to the 'breaking' point.
Cheaper food, better business

Minority doesn't proves it all. Highlighting only one stall seems
as though they paid just to get their mention in the news. Also,
cameo appearance by the drinks stall. Lucky CNA didn't go
overboard by giving the address to readers.
Costly nap on bus
http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_345765.html
"The police urge the public not to fall asleep on public transport
while travel ling alone." Ignoring the spelling mistake, but what a
thing to mention - I mean even a primary school child
would know that they should refrain from doing so.
Liverpool to play in S'pore

Kudos, dann! the title says it all ;D
(ps i think this was their early birthday present to you!)
Too skimpy for the beach?
http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking+News/Singapore/Story/STIStory_344875.html
My favourite part of this funny article wasn't his picture but
the way he responded and described the incident that took
place. 'It's ridiculous. This is the beach. Obviously I'm not going
to be wearing my swimming trunks to parks like the
Botanical Gardens,' added Mr Pang. Also stating that
'One of them pointed at my swimming trunks and said
'cannot wear like that, wear proper swimming trunks'.'
Okie dokkkie
I'm going to sleep now.
I don't think staying up late is good for me.
Friend say I'm crazy cause
easily I fall in love.
Gotta do it differently,
this time.
Afterall, we share
different values, so.

After its fourth successful bi-annual music extravaganza,
it's nice to see yet another phenomenal production,
Cest La Vie (which means "That's Life" in French).
This year, it took place at a smaller venue - Victoria Theatre. It has its pros and cons.
Not being able to accommodate as many people as its previous shows that were held
at various school campuses around Singapore, those who managed to get hold of a
ticket could get a closer view of the stage and the performers with more intimacy.
Will let the pictures do the talking :)
