Time kinda flies

:
Block 1: 3D Art Fundamentals and Communicating Ideas
Block 2: Drawing Essentials and Ideation
Block 3: Digital Media Fundamentals and Photography
Block 4: Applied Graphic Design

Block 5: Typography

This block is so boring!

I honestly don't know where am I heading.
I seem to be counting down to almost everything.
Counting down to the number of days left in a block,
counting down to the number of blocks left in a semester,
counting down to the number of modules left in a semester,
counting down to the number of semesters in poly life (lol not really for this one).

Singfest: Thumbs Up!

Yes! I am finally gonna update. lol. Will start off with the quick Singfest review.
First and foremost, thanks Zul again! Without you, I wouldn't been able to enjoy my first concert. =)
It was worth the money of $140 (A while-stock-last offer from Levis). The ticket came with a choice of a tee.
The organising for Singfest was a bit messed up.
My brother was supposed to be going as a job however two days before the event,
they were informed that the organiser only wanted female workers.
Day Two was delayed for about 1/2hr as scheduled.
With the help of Zul, we (Joan and my sister) managed to cut the queue
- queue which started at 10am (or earlier). The doors opens at about 2pm.

Stacy Orrico sang a couple of songs without her band so she was singing with instrumentals playing in the background. Many sang to the song 'More to Life'.
By the time Jamie Scott & The Town hit the stage, the crowd started to tighten up. the DJs kept reminding the crowd to drink alot of water because of the hot weather. The sun shone on the artists faces while it heats up our backs. Mineral water bottles were thrown into the crowd. popular song was 'When Will I See You Again'.
One Republic: The band most of the people has been waiting for, or at least know two songs, kept the crowd singing their lungs out. Almost everyone's mouth were moving during 'Stop & Stare' and of course 'Apologise'.
Panic At The Disco was up next. the DJs had to kill some time and so they made lame jokes saying 'Ok, I am panic and you (telling the other DJ) are disco'. They took some time to prepare as the DJ said that they need to hydrate themselves. Although the microphone gave way for a few times during the first few songs, the only rock band for Day Two got everyone jumping up and down whose voices overpower the technical difficulty. Great rock songs like 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' and 'Nine in the Afternoon'.
Jason Mraz. I would say the best of the night. He started greeting the audience in a form of a song. Quite an interesting opening as the night falls. Many teenage girls has been waiting for this star to sing his numbers. Great songs like 'Remedy', 'Geek in the Pink' and the simple tune 'I'm Yours'. Levis Break- Instead of taking a break, many tried to squeeze to the front while those who did not drink enough water had help from the securities to exit by climbing over the fence.
Rick Astley was next and he started of with two fast songs and suddenly laid flat on stage and said 'I'm too old for this', before slowing things down with his slow songs.  I personally did not know him until Rick Roll (lol not sure? youtube it). He ended his gig with 'Never Gonna Give You Up'.
Pussycat Dolls was next and they did their gig without their band (so you won't get distracted). They started with 'Buttons' and ended with 'Don't Cha'.
Alicia Keys, the last act came out with a black tanktop with highfitted white jeans - similar as to the ones she wore for her gig in France on 26th July. She opened her show with 'Go Ahead' and ended with an encore of 'No One'.

All in all, it was great. The lineup and all. =D
Someday, I'll post the pictures here.

Meanwhile school has been alright, quite slack..
will update another time!
